It is with great sadness that we report the passing of a Life Member of the Pasadena Bowling Association and Charter Member of the Pasadena Bowling Hall of Fame.


Elmer John Aden
Elmer John Aden, 91, of San Angelo passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 at a local hospital.
Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pasadena, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
Elmer was born on March 14, 1919 in Chatton, IL to Manerd J. Aden and Hulda Wegner Aden. He married the love of his life Rosamond Clark Aden on May 3, 1942 in Bowen, IL. From this union they had three children, Patty, Nancy and Jerry. Elmer enlisted into the US Army in 1942 and later retired as an accountant for US Industrial Chemicals. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in San Angelo, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Rosamond "Rose" Aden of San Angelo; daughter, Nancy Budewig and husband Bob of San Angelo; son, Jerry Aden and wife Vicki of Brandon, Florida; sisters, Joann McHone of Portland, Oregon, Lucille Flesner of Quincy, Illinois and Marjorie Drews of Canton, Missouri; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Mr. Aden requested that memorials be made to the Brazos Bend State Park Volunteer Association.
